What do I do?
Well, right now, it's hard to say...
I might be helping cure cancer.
I might be building the world's greatest artist, scientist, or mathematician.
I might be inspiring the next Roald Dahl or J.K. Rowling.
I might be nurturing the very mind that will end world hunger.
Time will tell, but for now ...
Wow... It is quotes like these that make me LOVE doing my job each and every day! I developed my love for learning and teaching in Orangefield,Texas. I had such an amazing educational experience and I knew that I wanted to pass on the gift to others. After completing high school in 2000, I attended McNeese State University and received my degree in Elementary Education. During that time I met my husband, Brent Stantz. We became “a family of educators” when we married in 2005. My husband and I both taught in Calcasieu Parish before moving to Welsh, Louisiana. I taught fifth grade for five years here at Welsh Elementary before moving to second grade. My husband is currently the assistant principal at Welsh High. We have three sons who are all attending Welsh schools. I love teaching and I cherish the bonds that I make with each and every single student!
